The Dolores Huerta Effect: Bridging Cultures. Changing Laws.
Recruited civil rights icon Dolores Huerta as a national voice for the medical aid-in-dying movement and served as her communications strategist for 11 years.
Built and led a bilingual Latino communications strategy that shaped messaging, expanded community engagement, and brought trusted Latino voices into a complex healthcare conversation.
The strategy helped build support for California’s End of Life Option Act, advance similar legislation in seven additional states, and scale nationally through Dolores Huerta’s “End of Life Options FOR ALL” campaign.
